Postdoctoral researcher
(2-4 years full time employment)
The lab is looking for a postdoctoral researcher who is interested in developing an academic career in Mucosal Biology. The project will focus on the characterization of novel goblet cell-intrinsic defence systems and their role in colorectal cancer. The recruited researcher will have extensive opportunities to collaborate with other members of the Mucin Biology Groups and local clinicians at Sahlgrenska Academy. They will also benefit from social and networking opportunities organised by the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular & Translational Medicine at the local and national level. Great emphasis will be placed on the candidate’s personal suitability for the position.
Essentials:
Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area (e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine etc.)
Previous practical experience working with in vivo disease model systems
Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English
